Absolutely amazing collection! Love the helmets, I got as far as the winter one and thought 'that's my fav' then scrolled down some more and changed my mind, then scrolled down some more.....

Interesting. Is it original?
In Germany is that all forbidden.

Every helmet show except the WW1 Helmet are all original Shells. Some have been resprayed due to poor condition. vast majority of insignia are excpet from a few aswel.

This stuff is sadly all forbidden in Germany. Im sure 1 day it will all be legal again. Dont hold your breath though.

Hi there, i believe its because of the swastika and anything that promotes to Nazi Era and In a way these items do so they are forbidden. I can't think of any other reason. I will look into it though as Im interested to know now :haha:

This concerns Nazi symbolism (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nazi_symbolism) in particular and is part of the denazification (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denazification) efforts following the fall of the Third Reich (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Third_Reich).
The law prohibits the distribution or public use of symbols of unconstitutional groups, in particular, flags, insignia, uniforms, slogans and forms of greeting.

Hey there, I do indeed collect, make and paint Tamiya 1/35, i have another thread in this section somewhere with all my models.
Some of them are, the Minesweeper Badge, Merit Cross badge, 1st and 2x 2nd class iron Cross, Infantry assault badge. Wreath on my Infanctry visor is correct too.

The first helmet is a German M42 Stahlhelm and I decided to add the highly debated Sauerland Decal to it since its something different.

The white camo helmet is actually a Spanish Modelo Z helmet. I was sick of looking at it the way it was so I done it up a bit and gave it a Winter Camo with Double Decal Heer.

wouldnt dare collect these kind of swastika heavy objects, would just be called a racist in the town where i live, and things like that sprreads fast.

Quite an impressive collection tho :)
