Error messages

My hardware is:
Asrock P45XE motherboard
Intel Q8200 2,33ghz processor
4gb pc6200 800mhz
Ati HD4670 512mb
500gb samsung hdd
22" samsung T220 syncmaster
Software:windows 7 rc1 64bit Build7100
and latest drivers

Problem:I have installed Silent Hunter 3+1.4b patch.When i start run game there is Protection system error.it says:
"This application can be launched with a release version of Microsoft windows 95 OSR2.1/98/ME/NT4.0/2000/XP/server 2003 only"
Install path is C:\games\ubisoft\SilentHunterIII\sh3.exe
should i try another location?Program Files(x86)etc???
it is great game and there is great mod GWX3.0 gold- and i really want play that game
i have tried also compatibility system from windows 98 to Vista sp2
PS i also have try upgrade starforce but there is only message:
"No installed protection drivers installed"

Check out the Win Vista sticky above.
There lots there about problems with Vista 64 bit which may apply to Win 7 64 bit.
Most advise to use a star force free edition of SH3 with 64 bit Vista.
This may apply to 64 bit Win 7 too.
