If I can sweet talk my bank manager I might be able to get a loan for the number 4 lug nut on the rear left wheel. :D

it has the sex appeal of an electric shaver.

I'll take one of these over the modern vehicles any day.

Personally this one is more my taste, the F430 Spider

Living in the United States, I have to consider two questions when dreaming about such cars

1. Where would you drive it? Our roads are crowded with unskilled/undisciplined/inconsiderate drivers and the roads themselves are not often high in quality. Driving a Ferrari only in first gear (which will probably get you a speeding ticket) is probably not good for the car.

2. Where would you park it? You park cars like that in a US parking lot and when you come back it will either be gone, stripped, vandalized, or at the very very least scratched by some jerk.

But they sure are nice to dream about though :yeah:

Like any classic or expensive car, road trip on Sunday and car shows.

Ferrari's have never done it for me. Gimme an Aston Martin DB9 anytime.

Is not like most could afford any of the mentioned cars, but I suspect there is a border discretion going on here.

The Italia is a pretty sweet looking car. apparently the F430 hasn't completely done it's job of replacing the 360 Modena.

I'd take all three. And a DB9:D

This is about the only thing with a Ferrari name I'd be bothered with:

Hehe, my family has its predecessor (the Fiat Seicento). I use it whenever I'm home. Nothing grand, but still waaay prettier than the Ferrari 485 Italia (has about as much appeal to me as an overpainted tart). If I could afford one, I would spend the money on something else :DL

Thats a horribile chassis. Ferrari lost it many years ago as far as design goes. The last great Ferrari was the 1985 Testarossa. Although my all time favorite is the Dino :

Now this is a concept car I would love to drive. Nothing comes close to this futuristic design, ok flying cars from Back to the Future 2 maybe. :D

Ferrari? Okay, but why travel so far to get a sports car if the good stuff is so much nearer to me. Porsche for me, one from the 911 line of cars. Simply classic in lines and looks.

I don't know why but I've got the impression that people who drive a Porsche are people with bad attitude or to be precise Porsche is the car for people with attitude problem. Like overbearing, self hating and irrational :D.

No offense that you like the car Skybird it's just my image of Porsche.

Anyone share my opinion?

Naaah, Porsche is the practical mans supercar, since it is the most practical supercar out there.
Ferrari is for people who want to look like a racing driver without actualy being one.
Lamborghinies are for people who want more attention that possible.
Ascaris are for flat out track stomping.
Koenigseggs are for people completely insane.
Zondas are for that 14 year old boy in all of us.
Gumperts are for people who are more german than the german stereotype.

All of the above to be taken with a massive grain of salt.

I am reminded of a skit by the comedian Rita Rudner

"Every time I see a middle age man in a Ferrari, I want to walk up to him and tell him 'sorry about your penis'".
