Game Paused... Permanently

Greetings from a newbie. Apologies if this has been discussed before, I didn't have much luck in the search link. If I go to any saved game or single mission, the screen says game paused and it won't unlock. Any help would be appreciated... thanks.

Edit: I tried reinstalling, checking to see if it's a keyboard error... no luck.

It sounds like you have an installation fault/corrupted file.

Uninstall using the option on the game disc, delete the SH3 folder in C\MyDocs, perform a registry clean and reinstall the game.

If you do decide to re-install, save your campaigns and save games, but remove the rest. Lots of stuff MyDocs other than your saves.

Can't direct you as to what to back up though, as I can't get to my main machine right now. Someone else may be able to help with directions :up:

Mopy, checked Mydocs/SSIII folder as you suggested, there is another main.cfg file there. Replaced it with the file as per your link... worked!! :rock::DL
