Hi,
I just came back from a trip to Venice Italy.
Couldn't believe my eyes, so I was glad to have a camera with me.:D
Are they under attack by the Russians?

Alexander Ponomarev's art piece "SubTiziano" will be in Venice for the next several months participating in the 53rd Venice Biennale.

Wow, that's a fast reply.
So it's a piece of art then.
Looks like someone slapped a half a Foxtrot sail backwards on a kilo :hmmm:

That's what you get when you park it where the kids can get at it. :DL

After looking at the picture for a while, I wonder if it is a real sub.
Are the channels of Venice deep enough for a real sub?
Maybe it's just the upper part of a sub :hmmm:

I'm just scraping the bottom of the barrell of my memory, amazing the crud that gets stuck down here, but I think the artwork is just the upper hull on a shallow bottomed boat. Something like that. I remember seeing this art or something very much like it in a fountain in St Petersburg or something.

Well researched Oberon
I was wondering how long the reality would remain unknown :DL
