Hi folks

Just wondering if you could help me with somehitng, I have downloaded the GWX-3 Gold and applied it to my copy of SH3, and I am interested in the other mods that I notice people are using.

Is it possible to now apply SH-Commander over the top of my SH3/GWX mod? as it states in the installation for SH-Commander that the installation of SH3 needs to be clean... however I notice that others are using the mods together. Apart from applying the GWX patch my installation is clean.

Also if any one else can reccomend any core mods that would enhance game play further I would be grateful to hear your opinions, I know there are quite a few but I dont want to ruin the installation and cause conflicts with other mods.

You're ok mate.
Install Commander after GWX is fine.
But make sure you then install the config files, to ensure max compatability between GWX + Commander.
Get it at the bottom of this page

Exactly correct; and welcome aboard.
SH3 CMDR "don't leave port without it"
Be sure to read the readme in SH3 CMDR and the GWX 3.0 manual.

Thankyou Sergei for the link, I did remember seeing that compatibility files were available... It would have taken me ages to get it sorted without that link... Ta matey!

And cheers for the welcome guys, I appreciate it... Today I got my self a bargain copy of SH4:Wolves of the pacific,, so I'm having a hard time deciding wether to install SH4 or Go out for my first mission with the mods in SH3, tsk choices choices...

I think I will take mein U-boat for a spin, heard such good reveiws about GWX & Commander, cant wait.

If I could only pick out 3 of Jimbuna's fine list of mods it would be...

1. torpedo final damage
2. enhanced damage effects
3. lifeboats and debris4
4. God, Jims got some good stuff there :DL

edit: I'm going to pinch a few off his list. :shifty: :haha:
