The FBI is investigating the hanging death of a U.S. Census worker near a Kentucky cemetery, and a law enforcement official told The Associated Press the word 'fed" was scrawled on the dead man's chest.

And if the facts aren't in evidence then you invent them? Where does it say "carved"? All I saw in the report was "scrawled" and "written" and you can do either of those with a marker.

Carved, scrawled, written, you're all ignoring the point: the word "FED" was on his chest, and he was hanging from a tree- dead. In the long-term analysis of a case like this, how it was written is irrelevant. If we were trying to analyze the psyche of the person who did this crime, then it would matter. But right now, the cops are focused on collecting as much evidence as they can from the crime scene; primarily fingerprints, DNA, clothing fabric samples, etc. to catch their suspect.

This really is a damn shame too. Just doing his job and he gets killed. Seemed like a nice guy too. Saw this on the New Zealand Harald of him giving a lecture on sound waves to a 7th grade science class:

So do these really exist? However, the Maryland Chapter of the NAACP had Rev Wright as a speaker right here in my home town this past weekend. There were no issues or problems. It went off without a hitch. I guess Rev Wright hate speeches being thrown around from the pulpit are any less poisonous?

Many worse things were voiced at the anti-Bush/anti-war rallies from the past 8 years. I went to a few in the Bay area, and these folks were calling for the "Death Penalty" against Bush and conservatives. Also, there was a movie made about the assasination of Bush. Remember "Death of a President".? Lots of hatred there. Bush was definitely compared to Hitler more than once mookie. Pretty hateful...wouldn't you say?

Mookie, my uncle committed suicide by using a belt and bed post. He pulled the belt that he put around his neck until he was dead. You tell me how someone could have the constitution to do that to end one's life. Probably the same will as this guy taping his hands and working his arms around his back. The same way people in cuffs get them from their back to their front. I can tape my hands and wrist. Duct tape is great for that.
