I remember he once went fishing for a marlins I think and caught one, a big one. He tried to reel it in for a long time and during the fight he lit up a cigarette and said "To hell with BBC regulations, I'm having a cigarette!" And he was constantly having a swig of wine and even hard liquers while he was cooking.

He was a legend, his shows were all the more watchable for the fact that he said and did exactly what he wanted, not what the BBC wanted him to do, and that was his charm. The Clarkson of cooking perhaps?

What I want to know is, where do the 'Dems and Barack Hussein Obama with his liburull Obamaniacs stand on the legacy of Keith Floyd? Those Body Nazis would have had their Health & Safety stormtroopers shoot the wine glass right out of his hand given half the chance.

The poor swine never stood a hope. As an Englishshire citizen, it is well known that Floyd's NHS death panel decreed that his ravaged, necrotic liver - despite it's decrepitude - be given up to a one-legged Marxist Somali dissident enrolled in Koran study at LMU. After a student surgeon cut out the nodule-covered organ, sans anaesthesia (all supplies having been diverted to treat Taleban POWs), the op was declared a complete success. This is what happens when freedom dies!
