Was to be expected that this day would come, I'm suprised that he lasted that long, proofs he fought hard.

R.I.P Patrick.

In random order, I remember him from Ghost, Dirty Dancing, Pointbreak and North and South. He may not have been the greatest Hollywood actor, but he never wanted to be so. I think he did it well. He stayed with the same wife from 1975 till today, something which tells me something about his character and what matters most in life.

RIP

RIP Patrick. One of the few actors that kept his nose clean and was a credit to the industry.

May he RIP. I never saw that many of his movies. Black Dog was probably my favorite. I watched him in his last on screen roll as Charles Barker in A&E's The Beast. I really liked that show. A&E canceled it after the first season.

I do not have a favorite but man did they ever wear out Dirty Dancing and Ghost. Holy cow...those were the chick flicks for his time.

Red Dawn rocks, but I think August for me it would be for the wrong reasons.

In a way I am glad. I am sure that these last few years were not pleasant for him. Now his suffering is over. :(

I rewatched Red Dawn tonight with my girlfriend. She had never seen it and is a very girly girl, yet she loved the film. I remember back in my high school days sitting in class daydreaming about seeing russian paratroopers land in the school parking lot :|\\.

One thing is for sure he will be missed. Swayze could be a man's man or a girl's heartthrob. :salute:
