Crashing when taking Pics

My current mission, to photo a carrier fleet, is causing me no end of grief.
Whenever I press the PHOTO icon to capture a pic, my game crashes.

What version and mod's are you using. Something sounds strange from your other thread where you were'nt seeing equipment.

I was seeing equipment, just not being given new equipment...and not given the same equipment I already had on the previous sub.

I'm only using one mod, TMO...so I can't imagine I'm the only one having this problem?:x I am able to load the game and have been able to take a picture (I'm simply mouseclicking on the icon once it's active) but I think I need to photograph a few more boats to complete the mission.
It did this at my last photo mission too, earlier in the game...but fortunately I got a photo to work and the mission only required one.

Never heard that problem before. When the equipment becomes available you shold be able to click it over existing. Some stuff you have to arrow down to get a slot.

Yes, usually photo recons require several pictures.

Yep..well, there is a 1.8 beta out. I'm playing it and seems to be stable.
He did make it even tougher. Think the visuals need a little adjusting, cuz the enemy will often shoot you before your crew spots them. However, I actually like it being that way. Some new sounds, made the 40 a little stronger, added the captians quarters, but just eye candy.

Your not going to get you previous equipment from your old boat when you take a new one..have to buy it, but it should al be listed so you can.

You are seeing a different loadup screen that is black and white and states "Trigger Maru Overhauled" where the red bar loads? The game is so different from stock you will clearly know if it's loaded.

My guess is your doing something wrong. Do you actually see the equipment in your list on the left? I take it you buy it. It should then show in your equipment page with the blocks. Radar is in the middle. You should see a arrow where you can scroll down one more space and see a block for...think it says "counter measures". If you have it on boat, it should show in the big box at the bottom.

When you buy it, are you dragging and clicking it over the existing. The box should light up showing you where to place it.

When I port I'll take some SS's and let you compare them.

yes, thanks Armi...I simply click on my current equipment load out and usually if there's an available upgrade it will show up on the left side.
But as stated, its March 1943 (actually I think I left Pearl Harbour around Feb with a new Gato but didn't get ANY equipment other than the option for bigger deck gun / machine guns. No radars. )
I believe I had improved SJ Radar, but I've had that since I pretty much started. :wah:
