10 years of Dreamcast

Its the 10th anniversary of Sega's Dreamcast (according to gamespot)
so i thought i would start a thread for anyone who owned a Dreamcast to talk about their favorite games :salute:

The Dreamcast was my 3rd console and while i didn't have many games for it, the ones i did were some of the best i have played. So here is a list of my top games

Resident evil 2 (first played on dreamcast, had lots of special features)

Resident evil code veronica ( made for the dreamcast)

Soul calibur ( Best fighter ever and best in series)

Sonic adventure ( No wait this game was c**p!!)

Well short list but i cant remember the others :)

Dont forget the Sonic adventures. They were probably the last good Sonic games to be made. If you focus purely on Sonics running levels that is.

Although I was happy to see the Dreamcast fail it paved the way for that generation of consoles expectations.

Hmpf.. I dont get the fuzz about DC. It came WAY too late to the market, it didnt have any exclusive games (good ones that is) except for maybe Sonic (IMHO, the best Sonic games were on Sega anyways).

It was doomed to finish last the moment it came out, every other console had big lead to it already. Maybe that is the reason why they made games for it only for about 2 years before it died out.

PS. And DC is 11 years old, it was released in Japan in 1998. :O:

Yeah the Dreamcast was a in between console. It was nowhere near as good as the ps2 and gamecube but sooo much better then the ps1 and N64, although i prefer the N64. Im not a fan of sega but it wasnt a bad attempt by them. At least they make better consoles then sonic games :up:
