View Full Version : Question about borderguards and rocks
Just read the austria thread and something that Skybird said (the rock thing) got me thinking.
Let's say, I'm standing on the Finnish-Russian border and I see a russian borderguard walking by. Propably taken a few beers, I get the amazing idea of picking a rock and throwing it at him.
So, my question is; What could the borderguard do in that situation? :hmmm:

Firing a Russian round into Finnish territory, assuming he's only slightly less pissed than you? :hmmm:

Put a couple of rounds in you then drag your dead butt onto Russian soil and claim you were trying to escape. :DL
Chuck rocks back.

Or capture you, imprison you and tell you what
kind of poetic justice he is going to dish out
when you fall asleep with your mouth open.
Then watch you try to stay awake for a month
or two.

Dowly,
I'll give you $20 USD if you post a video of yourself nailing a Russian border guard with a rock. I'll make it $50 if you hit him in the head, $100 if you hit him in the nuts.
In the vid you have to hold up a sign that says "Mothballs made me do it"

I will double this offer.
No no no!
I mean what can he do as a borderguard and not break any international laws etc.
And we are all telling you that it's more about what he would do, rather
than what he can do. What he can do is irrelevant.

It would probably sound like this in his report;
"I was guarding the border and I saw a rock heading towards me. I quickly fired a shot at the rock and unfortunately I missed. My bullet continued on to the other side of the border and hit a ferret in the nuts."

This problem of illegal alien rocks trying to cross the border is getting out of hand...

He will probably just shoot you and the report he will write after will say "All quiet on the western front"

Nah, he will report that when suspect A (Dowly) tossed the rock he inadventantly slipped and fell on an AK-47 round.

Seriously I wouldn't go messing with Russian border guards. It at least used to be so that Finnish border guards weren't allowed to go around with loaded weapons. Russians border guards always had live ammo and loaded weapons. They have this thing they do when Finnish truckers give them trouble, refuse to show what is in their truck or something, they chamber a round (pull back on the loading lever of the AK). That usually is enough to get the trucker co-operating. :)

Well, if the hydraulics are still operational it should not take too long to forget the lack of leaky reservoires.
