Unable to download GWX 3-6.bin

Hi guys, been playing for years and usually find the solution to my problems on these boards 99% of the time.

I have been trying to download part 6 of GWX3 for the last 2 days but I am having no luck.

After pressing the download button I go to the next screen but find myself going back to the original screen:(

I have all parts but number 6. Been trying both multi-part download areas but no joy.

I know someone will have a solution, you guys always do.

Which link did you use. I managed to download the particular file from both Kpt Lehman's and Jimbuna's filefront page just now.

I tried both of the pages. I get to the "thankyou for downloading page" and before any downloads start, im bumped back to the 3-6.bin page.

It is a strange problem, and updating firefox hasnt helped.

Edit. I have a download in progress using IE. I hate using IE because its a security nightmare. I will keep everyone updated, but its the first time I have had problems with Firefox and downloading.

Wasn't there a torrent for it about? I'm sure that's how I got GWX 3. Good download speeds available.

But which of the seven bins is it? None of them are 160MB in size :hmmm:

Sometimes FileFront is a pain in the *** - at least you have to be very patient.

1430 - trying a download - can't get to the initial screen for download.
1510 - another try - this time the download button appears - no function.
1530 - hitting the download button shows me the correct page but download doesn't start - 'if it doesn't start click here' results in ignorance.
1545 - the download runs like a charm at 380 kb/s
1610 - next download runs fine, but at 140 kb/s
1645 - no download button appears...

It may be some weird limitation due to actual user count but it is definitively annoying.

Hi,

For what it's worth, FF seems to be having issues today. I had to re-try downloading a bunch of other files from there and was constantly getting "broken link" messages, etc.

Just keep trying, that's what I did, and eventually it will work.

Well, got part 6 using Internet Explorer. Now to install it all and fire up the game.

Thanks for the replys, dont know what caused my problems but least I can think about trying out GWX.
