Editing the voice acting?

I do enjoy this game quite a bit and I find it very detailed, however I simply despise one voice actor. I wonder if its possible to go in and replace/delete my radarman's voice while keeping the others.

Is it me, or are they all one voice actor, just with slight pitch and tempo changes? Anyway, if you're using SH3 commander, you could always dismiss him, hire a new petty officer, and then give him the radio qualification.

Technically, you could do that without SH3 commander of course, but it would use up a post patrol qualification assignment. I don't know of any way to edit the files to change the voices - though that doesn't mean one doesn't exist.

IN PORT (sic!) go to ...\MyDocuments\SH3\data\cfg\Careers\YOURCareerNAM E\Crew_CareerXXX.cfg. Roll back SH3 Commander if necessary before.

(XXX = highest number is your last crew configuration before leaving port)

Edit the VoiceIdx of your Radio Operator - you should know his name.
Change all the appearing entries with his name to the same index, you've got 9 indices to choose from.

Yeah every once in awhile I get a radio man that sounds like he has a bit of sugar in his tank.

I replace him soon after.
