Take it slow, open the canopy and use the Q and W keys to look down the nose, try to bring the nose up and flare just before you touch down, don't brake too hard too early.

It can be done but yeah, it's not easy. :damn:

Well yeh, that's what I'm doing. How the heck can you make the plane not to bounce back into the air?! I was sure it was going to be a successfull landing when I was coming in at pretty much perfect 3-pointer fashion, but no, it just bounced back. :damn:

Ah, the purpose of flaps is to crash you on landing it seems. Without flaps it's easy as hell.

If you bounce you might be dropping too fast, although you can bounce a couple of times (though your CO will frown on it :haha:) it's just not being too hard on the undercarriage.

My favourite trick is usually putting the brakes on too soon and flipping her over :damn:

Use the flaps to slow down your descent and raise them just as you touch down. That will decreease the lift you get from them when you hit reducing the height that you bounce.

Yeh, that's what I noticed too. Made a nice smooth landings after I started either ignoring the flaps entirely or raising them just before touchdown. :salute:
