What is this u boat dial .

Hi , i have a u boat dial off a german u boat engine . It has u/min on it and the dial reads from 150 to 700 . What dial is it ? . cheers . sober out . ok its engine rpm i think .

It's a dial to see how much rotations the engine does per minute (U/min =Umdrehungen/min).

BTW, if it's real I would rather try to sell it on Ebay than give it away for free, it's worth a couple of hundred bucks.
