I was not going to edit the whole post, but it did not make sense to leave parts of it, it just did not look right.
Sorry John, I know you meant no ill intentions here, but as mentioned, this type of stuff is better left for PMs or email.

John: I'm offended that HE was offended.:D If you're helping people just so they can be grateful to you, what kind of unfulfilled life must you lead? John, let other people's problems be other people's problems. I'm sure in your line of work people who have brought themselves to ruin by committing a crime have blamed you for their arrest. Consider this the same type of issue.

Never let anyone play the guilt card on you because you accepted their help. So long as you are willing to lend help without strings, you should be free to accept help under the same terms. It's clear that you ARE that kind of person.
You gave him much more information and thanks than he was entitled to in your response. Bacon sandwich???:hmmm: I've been called worse...

Chin up man! And thanks for your contributions at Subsim!

Mmmm, Bacon. I'd take 'bacon sandwich' as a compliment.

Stuff like this should be kept to PMs or via email, not the forums\threads here.
Sorry, but I am going to half to close this thread.
