Okay so I played alot of ETW recently. I kind of like the aswd pan controls and have become familiar with them.
I went to play some SH4 tonight kinda crappy mission couple of tug jap DD's who dodged torpedoes from very close range (inside 800 meters) but ... well things werent going well.
Same old drill go deep slink away disheartaned.
So .. after an hour or so of gameplay I find myself back at the nav map and plot a course for home. Fuel low munitions short.
Make it about 2/3 of the way back to midway, running at some ungodly TC 4032 or something.
Thats when it happened... I decided to pan the map and pressed D :o less than a second later ... well you know lights flashing damage reports flooding end... game over. :rotfl:
It would be really cool if devs could come to an agreement on map pan controls.
