Gettin killed also kills campain

Hi all,

New here.
I read up and knew about the no save problem.

But if you get killed (destroyer drilled me into the ground on the shetland mission) the campain is dead too.

This sucks.

Anyone know where in which file this info is stored? Can it be edited?

I really dont feel like doing the whole thing from start. Especially after the mission where the time could not be set above 16x. Took me 3 hours real time to get home.

The only way i can think of to save this info is to copy the whole game to a temp folder after each mission. Then if you get killed, you can copy the backup back to the game folder. (hopefully it's not placed in the registry)

I'm away from home for another week, but you can start the mission, or previous mission over again. I'm using UKW so I don't know if this applies to the stock version, but, select your career to bring up the next screen, and press the button next to the back button to bring up a list of the missions you've played. Scroll down to the last one, or next to last one, and start that one over. I've used that one a few times!

Thanks that worked.

This game could be on a parr with SH3/4 if only the makers supplied pathes for the bugs.

This game as is sucks. It is full of bugs.
To name just a few.

When in the northsea after the med missions , when diving to perriscope depth say 8 meters, and then speeding time up, the depth is suddenly 4 meters. This get you detected and killed if you dont keep an eye on that problem

When fighting planes and manual stearing to avoid torpedo's the machine gun has a mind of it's own.

When doing some of the most northern missions, IE sink the command ship, (put in both torps) it says destroyed as soon as it gets out of visual range but the kill is not attributed.

Other bugs have already been discussed here.

I'm up to mission 30 or 31, and i hope it's nearing the end.
