German Torpedoes?

Hello, i was just wondering how powerful german torpedoes are. i know it gives info on it but it doesnt tell how powerful they are, like compared to the default Torpedo. if any1 knows, your help would :rock:. tY 4 da help.

the G7a which is your basic T1 torpedo of the german Kriegsmarine packed 280kg of Hexanite which packs a punch about 50-60% over equivelent TNT.

the american mk 14 carried 292kg of Torpex (guess what that stands for) torpex is 50% over regular TNT.

so all in all about the same punch for each torp.
the mk14 was as bad as the G7e (TII) for depth keeping and influence/magnetic detonations and the Pacific fleet command blamed the sub skippers for the duds and misses rather then the kit. JUST like the BDU did to the german captains.

coool. What about OTHER german torpedoes. How much more/less powerful are other german torpedoes than the G7a T1???

all of them had 280kg of explosive, as pretty much all the torps after the TII were just varients of the same torp.
they just improved the homing or running ability of each torp by replacing the seaker head/detonator, batteries and motor. this left the same explosive throughout.
the american torps varies wildly though as they experimented with allsorts of different heads and whatnot.
the mk15 was actually lighter yet packed 375kg of torpex
the mk18 was actually a copy of the german G7e after a couple ran ashore and only carried 280kg of torpex but it was electric so they needed the extra room for the batteries and whatnot.

so they ALL had the same power? and Btw im talking about SH4 and german torpedoes only Not real life but if SH4 is REALLY that historically accurate then idc but what about the game you SURE all german torpedoes have same firepower?
