View Full Version : GWX for SH III is over at 3.0?

Hi everyone! I am a new member of this forum, but experienced as a SH III player. What I am asking the ones that are in charge of the answer is:
Is GWX for SH III over at version 3.0? And I am asking that because stock game is not far from unplayable in my opinion and although I've tried NYGM, WAC and LSH3, I see GWX as the best supermod developed yet.

SH3GWX3.0 is Gold; that means, no further development by the GWX team. The team supports this version, however.

There have been well over 100,000 downloads to date so I should imagine there will be a lot of people playing it into the foreseeable future.

Thx for your answers. Anyway, does anyone have a strict and valid list of GWX compatible mods? I mean "extra" mods that can be enabled via JSGME, ones that are not causing CTD errors due to incompatibility with the GWX 3.0 Gold supermod.
I've seen some posts about GWX "Platinum", is that just a desire that will remain unfulfilled?
I believe GWX project is a very good alternative and probably the best to stock SH III and even to the forthcoming SH5, which will probably will be playable only on high end computers.

No Platinum, Aluminum (USA), Lithium, Uranium, Radium, or Plutonium!:know:

Many mods are compatible with GWX. Ones that you have to be careful of are those that mess with the menu_1064 file or add ships. Many mods will "break" some of the features of GWX, but are playable.
If you use JSGME, no harm is done if a mod doesn't work.
