When in the Course of human events it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, However, it should be understood that the outcome of a man's life will only be reflected to that which he puts into it. It is further evident that mankind is endowed by the Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. — That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to affect their Safety and Happiness. The Congress has fallen in line with corporate lobbyists, protecting not the interests of the citizens of these United States, but instead protecting the corporate interests of those private enterprises of business.
The Congress has divided itself into a irreparable rift of “left” versus “right” which serves only to split the masses, sending our system of federal legislature into a mentality of complete and total halt of effective governing.
The Congress has repeatedly voted itself raises, given itself the best health care, created for itself a decadent and lavish retirement plan while only increasing the tax burden of the American Citizen.
The Congress has failed to operate in the good faith of bipartisanship on the smallest of governmental issues.

The Congress has exported the vital industries of the United States of America to foreign shores.
The Congress has illegally used treasury funds to bail out failed and corrupted private industries and businesses.
The Congress has levied taxes against the American Citizenry while failing to represent our interests through the complete and thorough examination of pieces of legislature before them.
The Congress has entrusted oil and fuel production vital to our national security to nations outside of our borders, some of which are openly hostile towards us.
The Congress has refused to invest in the futures of science and industry within our national borders by enriching the educational system.
We have warned them from time to time of attempts by their legislature to extend an unwarrantable jurisdiction over us. We have reminded them of the circumstances of our emigration and settlement here. We have appealed to their native justice and magnanimity, and we have conjured them by the ties of our common kindred to disavow these usurpations, which would inevitably interrupt our connections and correspondence. They too have been deaf to the voice of justice and of consanguinity. We must, therefore, acquiesce in the necessity, which denounces our Separation, and hold them, as we hold the rest of mankind, Enemies in War, in Peace Friends.
