View Full Version : Jumping the gun!
I want to know everything there is to know NOW!
I especially want to start talking about how to mod this baby, and what mods can be made...
I also want to know the exact system requirements so that i can upgrade my computer half a year in advance...
Based on my rash and premature interpretation of the trailer, I have taken it to be a true look at gameplay, and it looks as though this game will be way too hollywoodish, the proportions look all wrong, I hate the american voices (even though SH3 had american voices too and numerous people have tried to reassure me with links to a German trailer, with German voices), and and I fear my PC won't be able to handle it...
What is 100% clear is that this thing will be buggy right from release, so I probably won't buy it right away... if ever... I hate it when developers bring out stuff unfinished... damn UBI
Also, why have they made this another U-Boat sim??? I wanted another Pacific sim, since the last SH was Pacific, and it makes perfect sense to have two Pacific fleetboat sims in a row leaving the atlantic behind. And why always WW2?? What about subs in the future? Why is it no one ever does a sea-quest era sim?
SH5 will surely have some dodgy copy protection system, in which case I'm certainly not buying it!

:hmmm: soooo...
You hate UBI, expect this to be a disaster, and you're not buying it for several reasons including copyright protection.
Tell us again why you want to know anything else about it or why you'll be upgrading your computer ahead of its release??
:gulp:

If anything he is defending UBI.

Listen here Mr Ship's Cook, I know you're going to be asking me to try your soup every time I walk by you (because like you said: the trailer is actual gameplay and a true indication of everything about the sim) so can it!:rotfl:

I've already developed SH5 Commander. Do you wanna be added to the beta testing list?
I'm also currently testing my Aussie WWII sub add-on. A bit boring though sitting around the Officer's Mess at Freemantle [sic] for 6 years watching the American, Brit and Dutch boats come and go, but still, realism and all.

It's probably going to need it. Besides, we need someone to blame for anything that doesn't work right.:rotfl:
