I just bought SOF yesterday for $3 at GameStop (their last copy) with absolutely no expectations -- I'm a devoted SH3 fan and didn't want to get my hopes up for this (sadly neglected WWI era) sub sim.
Well...it ain't no SH3 / SH4 - but I love this little budget sim! As someone on the thread has already said: (and I'm paraphrasing) you just have to enjoy it for what it is. ROBUST, IMMERSIVE campaign play here -- which really counts for me. And it's extremely moddable, so I have high hopes for some big improvements to the stock game from the community here.
BTW, U-boote Kurs West is a MUST-HAVE -- such an improvement on the Vanilla out-of-the-box version in so many ways!

Description:
A bigger, throaty, improved version of the stock Uboat MG 08/15 in SOF.
Installation:
1-Back up the old file you are going to replace!
2-Put this .WAV file into your "Sound" folder directory (i.e. - Program Files / 1914 Shells of Fury / Game / Sound)
Issues:
None that I'm aware of...pretty simple file swap.
