What happened to my saved career? Known issues?

Playing the German career in single player, I finished about 3 missions with succes. With the gathered renown I fitted my boat with some new equipment and I got several crewmembers promoted. At this stage I got promoted with several medals myself (which appear in the little box in the briefing room). Very happy with this and proud of my accomplished missions ;)
Unfortunately, when I started the next mission all progress seemed to be disappeared: no medals anymore, no promotions by the different crewmembers and boat equipped again with standard guns etc.
I read about savegame issues in another forum, but I was wandering are there still issues even with patch 1.5 installed (one could expect they're solved by now) or is it due to certain mods installed (latest TMO v 1.7, RFB, ...).
I hope there's an answer/ solution to this... I don't mind playing some missions again but it's quite frustrating if your progress is not awarded. I am sure all you skippers out there, understand this ;)

Always save while looking at the campaign map screen. Always save your game as a new unique file, NEVER save over an old save game. Delete when necessary/ready.

If you are running TMO V 1.7 and also running RFB than that may be your problem.

I don't believe they are compatible, you can run either one but not both.
If you meant RSRD that is compatible with either TMO or RFB.

If that is the case try loading up the "auto-save entering Base" and try again. You might be able to save your previous patrols.

you have to be reeaaal careful with what mods you install,and the order you install them. scour the forum,most answers are out there. you just have to know where to look.

yeah it sucks to wipe everything out and start over, believe me.

some of us have to learn the hard way though,but at least i can find solice in the fact i am learning. :yep:
