When news reports stopped being a service and moved in to profit-making entertainment, I am afraid we lost a lot of trust in the media. I know I did. :nope:

Sometimes I think what made him so towering a figure was the feeling that everyone in the country was watching his broadcasts together. Now we all have so many choices that it would be impossible for one person to connect with that many people on that level.
