Is there any way to work around the software "Easy Share", & just download from camera to my pictures ? Only have 10 picture memory chip that came w/camera. Please be specific, software program not easy !

Uninstall the easy share proggy.
99% of flash devices will act as a portable hard drive and should show up as an alternate drive or camera Icon under explorer. Your camera is a flash device BTW.

More details: will I see it in My Computer as separate drive ? explorer ??

Installed easy share, add, & remove, still have Kodak files in Program Files ???

I would think you would see it as if you had plugged in a usb device, click on the popup saying something like...
new device detected...
Thats my guess...

Should just show up in "my computer" as removable storage. :yep:

Worst case just pick up a portable card reader, they should be fairly cheap.

My daughter has this camera and yes the program sucks. My wifes camera just shoves them in the picture file. What I do is pull the SD card and put it in the SD slot. Load to computer from there. Perhaps I will remove the program. It does suck.
I have an Easyshare Kodak camera and does not show as a drive, have tried in the past to run as a usb storage device but failed, unfortunately the only program that can access the camera is Easyshare, if you have a memory card installed you could remove that and plug into a multi function card reader.:hmmm:
