...is imminent. Release notes eventually get released this evening. They currently just work on a minor problem with the installer which popped up by surprise and prevented the release of the patch.

Stay tuned on this channel! :DL

Updated release notes: http://www.esimgames.com/downloads/SBProPE_2-483_Release_Notes.pdf

There is a chance that after the screwed installer they had to replace, the patch now and finally could be released by the end of this week.

700+ MB.

Thanks, guys. I fail to find the link on eSim's site, it seems to me they keep it hidden. Not the news, but the download link.

I got the Esim newsletter with the download link this morning. Maybe they do it this way first, and then later put up the update on the web page.

I have subscribed to that letter several times - and never got a single one. Nobody can tell me why.

Maybe they do not love me. :06:

I'm pretty sure they love you, marketing SBPPE over here fulltime..;)

Not to rub it in, but I found the download link in the newsletter as well. Maybe you could get it fixed by sending a mail through esimgames support link. Or maybe it was zapped by your spam filter?

I seem to remember that I have asked them some years ago. I think it was a problem with their software not accepting the mail server that I use.

Since the next patch or upgrade or whatever it will be, is not expected before the next 12-18 months, it is no important issue anyway.

I bet you that there will definitely be a must-have hotfix long before that.....to fix the issued that this upgrade caused.

How was installation by the way.....? Still at work so I haven't been able try it.

Installation was smooth, and quite fast (not meaning the download, which went without problems and maximum speed possible here, too). Zero problems with installing, even if not reading the how-to notes.

and updates intervals:

2.328 came in January 2007, a quickfix im May 2007.

The Beta 2.370 came in December 2007.

2.460 came in april 2009, 16 months later.

2.483 now is considered to be the patch (or "hotfix") needed for the main upgrade 2.460.

In a post one or two weeks ago, Ssnake answerd to q question about how often their will be updates in the future, with "12-18 months", something like that.

2.483 now is listed on their homepage and download list anyway. A delay with less than one day I can live with. :)

Install was smooth as silk indeed. I'm off to 'play'.
