Oh man! How dangerous is that? One rotor tip in the sand and its all over. Gutsy pilot!!!

In this country it would earn a civilian pilot a 709 ride.

Absolutely no margin for error.....that pilot must have nerves of steel :hmmm:

saw something similar at an air show once, i think the best thing i saw was a lynx fly upside down though.

That's not an overly dangerous stunt as long as the front wheel doesn't get snagged on something. The rotor blades were also well away from the ground (by at least 4-6 feet).

Your margin of safety is much narrower than mine. :03:

German helicopter at work (well I it's owned by the Austrian Red Bull company). I was lucky enough to see the guy perform live at the ILA last year.
The video starts to get interesting at about 1:35.

I think SUBMANS point (as usual) is that it cant be real or cool if done by non-Americans.

I wasn't really that impressed.

I find helicopter inverts much more impressive.

Nope....didn't see it flying upside down :hmmm:

It was upside down and in the air.
If you mean sustained inverted fligh, no full size helicopter can do that.
