This is very spooky. A blog post on the White House is clearly asking for Americans to snitch on their neighbors.

Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov.

I guess I can expect a knock on my door for posting this.

Meh if I got an email with that topic it would be deleted unread.

Besides after what they tried to pull at cars.gov I wouldent trust any .gov site.

According to 5 U.S.C. § 552a, United States agencies, including the Executive Office of the President shall, “maintain no record describing how any individual exercises rights guaranteed by the First Amendment unless expressly authorized by statute or by the individual about whom the record is maintained or unless pertinent to and within the scope of an authorized law enforcement activity.”

Since it is referring to chain e-mails several of the many exclusions to the First Amendment apply.
Actually if you look at just 552a how many exemptions on maintaining records can you find(though that really isn't the relevant statute in this case Bravo)

That Constitutional lawyer Barack Obama allowed this to be on a white house site. Don't miss the 'casual conversation' line on the blog. Brown shirt stuff. Our German and Russian, eastern European, members can see this for what it is.

Asked about Cornyn’s letter on Thursday afternoon, White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said, “nobody is collecting names.”
The blog and tips email was because, Gibbs said, “we have seen, and as I’ve discussed from this podium, a lot of misinformation around health care reform. Some of it I think spread purposely. We have used on many occasions the Web site to debunk things that are simply not true. We ask people if they have questions about health care reform and about what they’re hearing about its affects on them, to let us know and we’d provide them information to show that that wasn’t true.”
Continued Gibbs: “but nobody is collecting names.”

When asked, Gibbs acknowledged that the White House is required by law to save all correspondence it receives.
“Obviously, the National Archives documents correspondence with the White House,” he said.

The administration clearly wants to activate millions of snoops across America to get tips on what people say about Obama and his health-care plan. One can parse whether that amounts literally to “taking names,” but its design explicitly demonstrates a desire for the White House to track its political opposition.

It is also designed to scare people into not speaking out. Shades of NAZI Germany.

We saw that.

Bump so all can see the threat. Whether real or not. The threat exists in the shadows of the Obama government.

Looks like someone is having a bit of fun with you, @mbassador. Or, perhaps you are having some fun with yourself; time will tell. Oh, this is fun to watch.

I have seen some of your posts and thought you more intellegent than to play off this as 'Looks like someone is having a bit of fun with you'.

I guess I was wrong.

The accusation that I would say this to myself is both demeaning and plays into the likes of Nancy, harry and Barack. I see now you are a partisan. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

Wow you found another one that doesn't know or understand the law.
I like how they threw in the First Amendment where it doesn't apply .

Haha, I heard Obama mention his in this New Hampshire town hall meeting today. I have to agree with the President, I really am amazed at the level of willful ignorance that it takes to elevate this to an enemies list. :rotfl:

I'd have said it was more a "a valve (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Valve) that diverts exhaust gases (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exhaust_gas) away from the turbine (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turbine) wheel in a turbocharged (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turbocharged) engine system. Diversion of exhaust gases regulates the turbine (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turbine) speed, which in turn regulates the rotating speed of the compressor (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gas_compressor). The primary function is to regulate the maximum boost (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boost_(automotive_engineering)) pressure in turbocharger systems, to protect the engine and the turbocharger."

Your right ... http://www.nolimitmotorsport.com/tial/apps.html

TiAL Wastegates and Blow Off Valves

it's a blow off valve. Sure looked like a GDU though I had to carry it down the pier one time to get refitted.
Man was that thing heavy. :yep:
