How To Get Me Mitts On More Medals??

Hi All

what has to be done to fill in that lovely wee box on my desk thats always missing medals. i'm running at around 57% realism, with days spent in base at 50 to simulate a shorter career, but i never seem to fill that little wooden reminder that im never going to be an ace

its getting that bad that i'm taking chances at the periscope station....staying that little bit longer to get one more eel off, that when i tumble into the zentrale...i make my excuses (bad visibility/rough seas) to my crew as to why that escort got a fix on me somehow:88):88)

is it tonnage only? or is there another way to have doenitz pin those shiny things upon my beating chest?

Since medals is just a renown issue, I suggest you improve that realism level and put more torpedos on target. Well, don't waste them on them either. And don't ignore your deckgun.
