View Full Version : Fed Ex Home sucks!

If your going to ship something and require a signature, Fed Ex Home is a poor choice. Delivery attempts are days apart, they will not make any accommodations to the recipients availability if you miss a delivery attempt, and in my case, I'll have to drive 45miles round trip to pick up the package if we fail to connect. Gee, I have a day job, wonder why I'm not home! And what really burns me is that I was home, ten feet from the doorbell chime when the first attempt was made last Saturday. They could not have rung the bell or waited more than ten seconds. Don't bother calling to complain as Fed Ex is deaf. We have a Fed Ex office in town, but it's Fed Ex Express and they don't talk together, so I couldn't even arrange to pick the package up there.:nope::nope::nope:

UPS ;)

Interestingly, I had more problems with UPS then I did with Fed Ex or even USPS.. strange, I know. But neither of the latter had lost track of my shipments or bold faced lied to me when I called and asked where and when the delivery will occur.

Had issues with FedEx when I lived in the US. UPS were better.
Problems weren't any sort of deal-breaker, though.

Back here you're lucky to get a second delivery attempt. Once I found a rather expensive package left on my doorstep. It's not that I don't trust my neighbours, but come on..
