Hello all, just started playing SHIII & GWX along W/ SHIII Commander and there are so many new additions to the game! I know I am kind of a johnny come lately but this is awesome! I recently was en route to attack a convoy when an enemy SUBMARINE spotted me! Well this is really cool, can anybody recommend me some different MODS to use to make it a little more interesting? (Not that GWX + SH3 Com is not interesting). Thanks all!!

Yes..isn't it grand?:yeah: I was shadowing a convoy today at grid AM 17..
I went to periscope deth at around 10km and did a scan of the ships...after careful examination..there it was..a British S type submarine on the surface with the convoy....!!! talk about unexpected!!:up:

Welcome to GWX KaleunBier http://www.psionguild.org/forums/images/smilies/wolfsmilies/welcome.gif

Below is a screenshot of my current testing installation (1 of 7). This should give you an idea of what is compatable. The order of installation is often crucial as well http://www.psionguild.org/forums/images/smilies/wolfsmilies/pirate.gif

Yes, but understand that some mods will give a conflict ... in other words, not every mod works together! :yep:

JSGME will tell you if there is a conflict, and which files. By studying the structure of the mod and how each file is modified, you can often use conflicting mods if you modify the critical files to make them compatible. This is expecially true for the menu_1024.768.ini.
On the other hand, if the scene.dat files and environmental files are modified, you have to choose one or the other, as there is usually no way to combine them.
Modifying modifications is also enjoyable and you can ofter use incompatible mods together without breaking either one.:know:

Yes correct JSGME told me if a certain mod will conflict with my personal settings. However, the menu_1024.768.ini is Chinese for me! :)

Example:

[G14 I6]
Name=Info
Type=1029;Static text
ItemID=0x14000007
ParentID=0x14000000
Pos=161,757,130,32
Color=0xEBCF99FF
Font=13
Text=1433
TextFlags=0x4

LOL :know:

The ones in my thread live and work happily together...hence the screenshot.
