View Full Version : Peculiar Gw3 gold problem :)

Hello everyone :)

Has anyone stumbled upon this ? Everytime i dock at my homebase and want to quit the game the war seems to end :D ( the date is oct 1939, fastest world-war ever ) . With that i mean, everytime i try to load a savegame it lists end of war ( or something alike ). The results are same even if i start a new mission and leave port before reaching my patrolgrid. It's not really a problem but i find it a bit funny :DL, i'll just load up from mid-mission and continue ( and save mid-mission ) from there. Everything done and installed according to instructions.

well thank you for that information i was going to play it but with the war over now whats the point:doh:

with ever mod there are going to be small problems that need sorting i cant download the first file have the rest so your doing well:up:
whats it look like im looking forward to trying it.

Sounds like you might some residual files left over from a previous install.

Try uninstalling GWX, SH3 and any other mods you have installed.
Then when you are sure you have everything removed.
Go through the step by step instructions listed in this link.

Make sure you use the right set-up instructions for the OS you are running be it XP or Vista.

I'll give it a shot. Thanks for the reply :) As i said, i just think its funny. If it doesnt work i'll just save my game when i have patrolled my grid for 24 hours instead of in port. It works for me :) And thanks to the GWX team for a fantastic mod :up:

Make sure when saving the game. That you not not save while closer than 50km to land or in sight of ships.

I wouldn't settle for a make do installation....I'd follow the advice given by mrchris matey.

Uninstall using the option on the SH3 game disc.

Delete the SH3 folder in C\MyDocs.

Perform a registry clean and reinstall for a much better gaming experience.

The registry cleaning did the trick :) Thanks :)

Now, to load up the last game. Managed to get myself in a deckgun duel with an S-class. Run away ? Nope, this i have to see to the end :DL
