Okay, first off a disclaimer: I've been drinking. A lot. Tonight was poker night at my place and not only did I win, but I imbibed more than my share. Perhaps even some of Dowly's.

Furthermore, when I drink, I tend to be overly nice and assertive about things. But, alas...

Is it just me, or is Subsim the greatest site on the net? Especially the Radio Room, in my opinion. I spend about 15 hours/day at or near my computer typing papers and opinion pieces and I can hardly help myself from checking here many, many times a day. The people here are absolutely awesome (even those I typically disagree with) and this is, by far, the cleanest, most self-regulated forum I've ever seen.

I've been playing submarine sims for years. Only recently have I looked for help, and I found this incredible site.

To end, kudos for Neal and Co. for putting together an awesome site, and an incredible place for people to meet and discuss everything under the sun. I'm proud to say that I'm hooked, and I'm now a Subsimmer for life.

Yeah, I'm bombed. But that's how I feel.

I know a couple better sites actually but that's because the other games forum on here isn't active enough.

Plus you can't beat the hilarity sometimes of the Dwarf fortress forums. :rotfl:

SubSim has been my home on the 'net for the last nine years. Neal is a class act, and his site is the nexus for all things submarine. In addition, there's a lot of decent people on this forum. I'm happy to be here.
