Guys,
1. Can you actually sink a floating dock?
2. Where to aim and how many torps will it take?
3. Easy 24 or 26 Tonnes kill :arrgh!:
Thanks in advance for the answers!

24 or 26 tonnes?
the question is... why is that amount of tonnage worth ONE torpedo let alone three of four???

It must be me, but not getting your reply :hmmm:
And it's actually 26000 or 33200 tonnes

oh well if we are talking that much tonnage... the only place you would find one is in an enemy port.
if you can manage to sneak in, i would figure it would take 2 or 3 torpedoes set to detonate magnetically under the keel to do the trick.
good luck :salute:

I'm lying next to it currently.. waiting for the destroyers to calm down. Downed an 10K warship and a large troop ship.
Waiting for torp reload and then schoot a large cargo, 2 small tankers. Wait again for torp reload and should have 2 fish left for the dock.
as far as I know you'll get really little renown for floating docks, and I mean little, 10-20 or sth like that
EDIT: 25 or 30 renown depending on the type, really not worth two torps ;)

It only takes one torpedo to sink a drydock. (I know from experience...) But it is worth barley anything but tonage.....

Hardly worth the effort Kaleun....far better go for the capital ships if your determined to harbour raid.

Now that would be telling :DL
You might want to try Loch Ewe, Dover or Gibraltar.
A lot depends on where you are based and the actual date in the month.
If you open up the Campaign_Scr you can see when and where everything is scripted.
