Slight problem

In DG 1.5, I managed to turn something on so that when I select a ship, it is surrounded by a blue ciricle with a course heading and direction to its target. How do I turn this off and get just a blue highlight around the base of the ship? Also, the shell came no longer works--how do I get that back on? It has got to be in the setting I just can't find it

'H' should cycles the shell cam modes.
As for the circle, not sure. Most controls can be viewed by pressing F1 whilst on the battle screen.
