New SHIII player here, guys!
Sorry for being unable to find the answer myself...
...but I can't figure out how to change the default action my crew takes when a ship is spotted. I told them to "dive to periscope depth" every time a ship is sighted, but since then this behavior has started driving me nuts!! How can I alter this setting without starting a new game?
THANK YOU in advance!
IIRC there is a spot to reset it when you use the Esc button in game.

Lucky you, I had it on "ENGAGE TARGET". Sighted a Task Force at 16 km, the deck gun crew started shooting the birds, the entire task fired back. I was dead in just as many seconds as it took for their shots to travel 16 km. At least I had to press that Esc button to load up a save :yeah:.

Hi and welcome axxchor:up:
As HW3 says, hit Esc while in game and you will find the reset default action option.

No mercy for enemies....

Gee. I should have figured that one out! Maybe keeping all the text in German for language practice has it's tradeoffs, eh? ;)
Thank you for the help!
