renumbering U boats

How's it done.

I'd like to hand over :hmmm:the default U-122 to the kriegsmarine and ride an imagined new IX with a new U number. However, I don't know how to change the current # to a new #....help!

Get SH3 Commander. It lets you select from a list of actual boats in that flotilla at that time.

I would recommend SH3 Commander as well but, if you do not have it, you can change it in your My Documents\SH3\data\cfg\Careers\"your kaluens name here"\Patrols_0 file. Open Patrols_0 with notepad and scroll down to the last [PATROL XXX] set and find this entry SubName=U-122 and change it to what you want and save it.
