View Full Version : Changing number of days in base????

I have been playing my GWX 3 campaign with WSM 3.0beta and the only problem is when I dock my ship doesnt remain in port the usual minimum of 2 weeks the uboats do and this makes it somewhat unrealistic. I went into the basic.cfg and changed it from 1 to 14 but it still doesnt work...any other files i need to edit??

The easiest way is to use SH3 Commander. It works externally, so it doesn't interfere with any mods, and it allows you to control a great many of the game's parameters.

Remember that even if you change the number of days with SH3 Commander, you still need to remember that you will stay an extra day per % of hull damage and for any changes to your boat.

Yes I knew that, but its for those times I arrive with no damage and only stay for a day....no time for the crew to :zzz:

I keep SH3 Commander set to Randomize, so I never know what I'm going to get. I've spent the better part of a month in base, and I had a type II turned around and out at sea in as little as five days, which was a pleasant surprise.
