Hello,

I would want to ask you more experienced players a few things.

1. If my watchman spots a ship, how can I get myself to good position? I find it very hard to get myself to good spot to firing torpedos. Almost every time I don't get ahead of it and I'm staying behind it. I can't go farther away from it because I can't calculate it's course very good because it's so far away.

2. When using a fast 90 AOB tactic, should the gyro be 000 when firing a torpedo?

3. When the black squares appears to the nav map and I start to calculate the interception course and when I draw that compass circle, do I draw it depending on what speed I want to go to intercpet the target? For example I'm going to intercept it with 16 knots, I draw a circle with radius of 16, or if I'm farther away radius of 160, right? (I have look at, the hunt, tutorial. I'm just getting things clearer for myself)

I hope I didn't embarrass myself with these questions :).

1. Ask your watch officer when he is on the bridge, he'll be perfectly capable to provide you with a bearing and range.

2. Yes, that means the torpedos do not turn and then range becomes irrelevant for aiming. You do need to have the right AOB and speed input though. Then just aim the periscope to a direction that makes the gyroangle 0. Then wait to fire until the juicy ship part passes the line. (no lock, and don't forget to open the tubes beforehand)

3. Yes, this circle:

is the speed with which you wil do the intercept. It should be as quick as possible, or whatever the weather allows.

See, no need to feel embaressed. You allready knew 2 out of 3.
