To me it looks like Obama is introducing the ppl to Medwhatsamacallhim. :yep:

On another board there was a talk that maybe this is the new embassy staff or something like that meeting the russian president.

EDIT: Besides, you really think the mainstream media would just pass this one if it really was the russians ignoring Obama? :haha:

He didn't want to get the swine flu.:hmmm:

The last time I checked, Russia was done with Tsars, and since obama is hooked on czars like a 70's SNL star on cocaine, weel what can you say?:D

So another non-story.

Please pick your battles. This sort of thing makes the right wing nutjobs look even more pathetic and small-minded than ever.

The point is that if this had happend to Bush it most definatly would not have been a 'non story'.

Looks like he is presenting them to his "friend" (is that the russian president? I cannot tell), tbh...

Yeah, I think that's Medved. I don't know about the others, but if Obama was trying to shake the hand of the last guy then he must think he's Stretch-Armstrong...

Yeah, that last one was clearly "and this is Mr...." handmotion, not an invitation to a handshake. My guess is that this is the case with the other ones too.

Really?
You don't think it would have been exposed as a non-story by perhaps the second post when someone might have noticed that.....

Really .. no question in my mind that the popular media would have had a field day with this regardless.

Depends on if its a slow news day or not. I mean, a few days ago the media tried to make something out of a picture of Obama taking a peek at a nice booty.

They would probably have treated Mr Bush differently in the first place. As to the Cold War being over: As a German, it sometimes makes me shiver when I think of where Russia is going ... At the one hand, political cooperation on many levels (energy etc.), on the other hand, pictures like this, which speak volumes ...
Whom are they trying to impress?

Found out that Russians are very prejudice. They do not like blacks.

What ? You must be totaly crazy if you think it wasn't an invitation for a handshake. Scratch your eyes if you can't see obvious things in that video. Of course Obama started to act cautious with the last guy, after seeing eveyone avoids to shake his hand, later he made an impression he was representing tha last guy to it's collegue. What is left to do in this kind of situation ?

I look at it again and again, and still I see nothing else than Obama presenting some gentlemen to the russian president.

I just read the comments on that page under the clip:damn: So these men came together with Obama and were not Russians ? What a bluff in the name of that video topic then.

Biggles, pardon me! I'm the one who needs to scratch my eyes this time :D

I/ve been fooled at the first viewing too. A good joke or an illustration how biased oppinion could be created by media. Video stops as soon as Mr. Medvedev starts to introduce Mr. Obama to Russians and jumps to Obama introducing Americans who came with him to Medyedev making the whole scene looking like Russian snob Obama :D
