Hi, is there any mod for eliminating of stealing kills in SH3, pls ? I hate when I do all hard work, spend my torpedoes and deck gun ammo and finally second before finishing the ship, enemy hits & sinks my target and I get no credit for her. :damn: I am trying to not shield myself with targeted ship but it is not enough, it looks like malicious AI wants to rob me of my tonage and renown :damn: They should protect their ships not sink them.

The best preventative method is to ensure you don't place your victim between yourself and the enemy.

They are not as bad as all that :DL

A few ranging rounds and they soon get to the pointy end of business :o

The AI has stolen 2 kills from me over the last few days. The first one happened less than 1/2 an hour's sail out of Salamis. A Greek passenger/cargo vessel spawned about 8000 m off my port bow. I raced over to sink her but my escort (the minesweeper) dispatched her before I could get within range. That :shifty: little S-boot pilot is going to get his too someday; if he isn't trying to ram me (I think that he sniffs av gas) he'll gladly steal kills too whenever the opportunity arises.
The second stolen kill occurred about 250 km east of Valetta. I had intercepted a small convoy & was preparing to sink a large cargo ship (8000+ tons) when our valiant friends , the Italians, turned up in the form of a small convoy. Their lead destroyer took out the lead British destroyer so I thought "Thanks you just made things a little easier for me". Wrong!:damn: Once the Italian DD is done with the lead British DD he destroys my cargo ship too.:wah:The other enemy vessels were on full alert by then so it was pointless to proceed with any further attacks (bright sunny day with no wind).

AI.....Some time you love 'em, sometimes you hate 'em.
