I've always used Ati gfx cards before but my new puter has nVidia gfx card in it,and I was wondering if some fellow nVidia users could recommend some settings for playing SH3/GWX?
Also I seem to remember some fellow members mentioning something called "nHancer" which allowed you greater flexability when adjusting the settings of your card, does anybody have a link to nHancer by any chance?
All help greatly appreciated, thank you for reading:salute::salute::salute:
On my MacBook Pro GeForce 9600M GT works perfect. SH3 + GWX 3.0 + SH3 Commander. You can try to run (if you have), the "run display optimization wizard" which you can find at the NVIDEA desktop manager or NVIDEA settings.
System requirements for nHancer
Any nVidia GeForce graphic card
Windows 2000, XP, 2003 or Vista (32 and 64bit)
Forceware driver version 60 or higher (nHancer 2.4.5)
Forceware driver version 182 or higher (nHancer 2.5.1 or later)
MS .NET Framework 3.5 or later

I highly recommend nHancer and can suggest the following (anything not mentioned should be left at default, usually "off")
Multisampling - 16Q (nicer antialiasing, but you get no sun bloom so not as nice sunrises/sunsets. If you want the sun to look "right", use 4x4 instead.)
Supertransparency box checked
Anisotropic Filtering - 16x
V Sync set to App
Texture Filtering - High Quality
Negative LOD - Clamp
Compatibility - EA Strategy Games
This is on an nVidia 9800GT which is really the old 8800 re-badged, you don't mention which card you have but this should be a good step in the right direction. Hope it helps! :DL

nHancer allows you to reset defaults, so whoever that was just needs to take a look for the little "reset" button to the top right of the profile's description.
