Photobucket has pulled the plug on me. I have lost my signature, death cards and two years of SHIII photographs. Their reason was "for violation of terms of service". Terms of service are associated with porno, offensive or objectionable photograps. It appears that someone at Photobucket finds History, SHIII, WWII, U-Boats, U-Boat crews and other historical photographs offensive.
WITHOUT A PHOTO ACCOUNT I CAN NOT POST IMAGES TO SUBSIM OR CONTINUE MY D.I.D THREAD. DOES ANYONE KNOW OF ANY OTHER SERVICE I CAN USE????

I joined photobucket back when it was still a small affair some years back after problems with strike9, then it was ace, now it's bloated crap. Same old story as with many websites, services and programs from winamp to audioscrobbler.
Is there no way to appeal your ban?
there's also flickr you can upload to.

Thanks to Jimbuna (link to imageshack.com) I have a new STOLEN Sig. It will take hours to upload images to them from my HD.
As far as Photobucket: I had no porn just historical & SHIII game stuff. My mesage to Photobucket . Grow up. History is what it is and a game is a game.

No worries

The positive thing about image shack over photobucket is the fact that you don'y have to be logged in or store an image to allow a third party to view it.
With photobucket, the minute you delete said image from your account, it is also no longer viewable on whatever site you posted it to.

it was rong for them to delete his stuff, they should have sent him a warning, and told him to get all his stuff off his account that might have not been replaceable.

One German flag with the swatz. If that was the reason they should ban the whole internet. That particular flag is part of history.

Yes. One German flag with the swatz. That particular flag is a part of history and can readly be found at history, and other sites on the internet.
I emailed them for a reason and got a canned response telling me nothing. The German flag has been on there for over a year.
sorry to hear that.:nope:

Well I am not agreeing with what they did, I was just wondering what might have made them ban you. The swastika seems like a stretch but if there was nothing else "offensive" on there then what else could it be?

I lost a account there for having the swastika showing in some medal pictures I was using for a IL2 group. They had also been up for over a year. I am back in under a different name there with no problem for better than a year, same medals are up there. Best I can figure is someone must have seen my page there and lodged a complaint about it.

I have to agree with Sailor Steve here. I went Photo Bucket after tons of pop ups and program installs that started in the background as soon as I clicked at a Imagechack link. I still never ever touch any links to that site.
Sorry to hear you´re banned LzZ, strange when you think of all the other stuff on there.

The editing of history (I am assuming this is a Swastika problem) is one of the most deplorable acts any nation can perform. Unfortunately, it is very prevalent here in the U.S. I look forward to the day when images showing the Confederate flag will also be banned - yeah right, I can see that happening, it's a vocal minority that.... oh forget it, nothing that the average guy says or does will change a thing. No matter how annoying or frustrating it may be, the PC complainers win out by threatening legal action.

I bet Bernard left one of his "intimate" photos on your account. That sick bastard :arrgh!:. No wonder though they banned you for using the swastika. It's copywrighted material. Photobucket is using it for their underground section.

Yes, we all start to be really fed up with all those sites that pull the plug on us one way or the other, from one day to the next without any warning, like Filefront, Photo Bucket, and may be a few others...
It is time we put all and I repeat all our eggs in the same basket !!
We need a poll, and ask every member to upload their files at only 1 or 2 places where we know this cannot happen. Lets sack those guys !!
It takes too much time dedication and work and see that all what you guys do is all gone in a blink of an eye...

I had my swastika flag picture from SHIV deleted aswell. Tho, my other swastika mod thingy for HoI 3 is still there.
The swastika is always abit risky to upload to places like PB, especially if you dont add any description to it explaining what it is for.
Yes, it's historical icon and shouldnt be censored like that, but it's their site and they make the rules.
That's why I say we should have a place that we would know is ours, and where we would'nt have to justify anything for 1 or 2 swastika here and there for the purpose of the game, and no chance for whimsical and sudden erase of files.

maybe someone took offense to the amount of German stuff you had maybe they thought you were a Hitler youth or a nazi or something.:hmmm:
you should have your stuff backed up on your own side instead of depending on external sources with which you have no control over.

But who?...took offense. I mean you need your login to access your albums, no? Are they for public view? Or was some admin randomly trawling the albums. Granted it is a free site etc BUT this banned for no reason shiite, sux azz. In fact, if I ever got banned like he did, I would send them emails forever telling them to ESAD! :arrgh!:

It's always someone's political agenda. On YouTube much like PhotoBucket, people's media material often gets banned because it does not agree with the political agenda of the admins of the website. Don't take it from me, I hate the swastika as much as anyone else, but I don't see why they'd do this. Millions of people were murdered under the hammer and sickle and I don't see anyone banning it. Or the fact that a neo-Nazi party in Russia called the National Bolsheviks has adopted it on their armbands like the swastika. Like the brownshirts of old, they beat up people who don't agree with an agenda. I swear the PC people do it in a more polite form, but do it anyway. They are communists anyway who want to see our freedom lost to give away to appease other "races" Just ask them. I know how you feel. I hate it when stuff like this happens.

It's the wonderful politically correct people who get offended on behalf of someone else! They should all get back to worshipping Mary Whitehouse and leave the rest of us to get on with life.

isnt there a mod to take the swastika off the Bismarck model or is it in the game itself:hmmm:
about the site they would have to keep an eye on what people are loading on their systems for security and also some nut case could be putting anything on there so they have the right to remove anything they dont like so no there is no privacy especially since sep 11.:ping:
