Tried loading a career and go on patrol,Its August 40' and I'm in Wilhelmshaven, problem is I had a CTD(what a suprise:roll:) Obviously the Spitfire XXII I tried to add isn't liked for some reason:nope:,Anyway to cut a long story short, just before the patrol didn't load it mentioned a base change to Lorient, problem is when I removed the offending mod and try to start loading the patrol again it tells me my base has changed to Wilhelmshaven:06:Which is wrong:nope:and doesn't correspond to what SH3Cmdr is saying,I get another CTD and if I try again it says my base has changed to Lorient:doh::damn:
Sh3Cmdr is saying one thing and the patrol start is saying another,no wonder I'm getting a CTD from a Kernel.dll AGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG:damn::wah:
Does anybody have any ideas before I go totally insane anf give up on this damn game completly:nope: I've just about had enough of this:damn:

The joys of dabbling with unsupported/unproven mods I'm afraid.
It sounds like that Spitfire either altered or deleted what was needed by the bootsector part of your installation.
The links below (especially the second one) should help you if trying to load from a previous save doesn't work.
Good luck matey http://www.psionguild.org/forums/images/smilies/wolfsmilies/thumbsup.gif

Now this is bizarre,I thought for a minute that it was just the one career thats stuffed, its not, there are 2 that are not working, the others are and the strangest thing?:06:the ones that work are TypeVII U-boats,the ones that are not working are TypeIX's:hmmm: How on earth could that happen:hmmm: I'm really stuck as to what could be the cause, any ideas anyone:06:

Would anyone be so kind as to e-mail me the folders contained within the Sh3 Data, submarine folders for The TypeIX U-boats,I'm hoping that if they have been corrupted at all that 'clean' replacements might allow me to use a TypeIX again, its the only thing I can think of doing:06:Any help at all greatly appreciated:yep: Thank you:up:

Sadly it appears that getting rid of the old TypeIX files and putting in the new ones hasn't worked:wah::cry::nope: I just can't understand whats gone wrong,I can't have done anything drastic,if I had the TypeVII careers wouldn't work either, and they are fine:06:
Does anybody have any ideas of the workings in the game and what could affect just one type of player U-boat:hmmm: I'm at a loss.
Sorry to hear that, mate.
Maybe the only solution is reinstalling the game...
