HELP Lost my Controls from Control Room

FIXED - Still an interesting discovery - If you have NumLock on and press DEL, you lose your Controls Area - Panic at 75 feet!

Here I am taking one of the Naval Academy exams. I visit the Sound Room and when I come back to the Control Room I have great ability to look at every one BUT my controls are gone!!!!

What did I do and who do I undo it????????????????

Currently searching the GWX3 644 page manual to see if there is a new command I accidentally invoked - feel like I'm playing Oblivion and just set off a demonic booby trap at 25m under the sea.

You have no idea how many times people have asked just the opposite: "How do I make all the controls go away so I can take screenshots?"

Now you've discovered it on your own, and didn't know what happened!

Not laughing at you, just at how funny it can be when our perceptions differ.

I did this once and didn't know what to do. Luckily nothing was around so I just stopped the game and restarted. I was upset that I had lost @ 10 minutes of playing time.
