Okay I know alot of you think I'm nuts to begin with maybe this will even reinforce that :O:

Now I dont really believe in paranormal activity but this is as strange as it gets.

Not to long ago we lost a beloved pet cat 'Patches' whom died evidently sparring with the neighbors dog whom had dug beneath the fence and viloated her space. She was old and a bit overweight so probably had a heart attack as there was not a scratch on her but covered in dog saliva. But thats not important now.

The other night I had a dream. I felt in my dream a cat 'kneading bread' you know the motion they make with their paws in and out repetavily. In my dream I moved my foot "I'm tryin to sleep here".

Then I felt the weight of her paws as she 'walked' up my legs to my back. Soon I felt a pin poke square in the center of my spine. It was mild at first and my cats have been known to 'poke' me or my wife to wake us up. However the pin poke grew in intensity, stronger and stronger it grew till it was nearly unberable. I then rolled over twisted to make it stop. Thats when I woke up only then realizing it was just a dream.

Now I would right it off as just a strange dream but it wasent the first. Ive have other dreams of sensations of cats walking accross my bed as I wondered "what is the cat doing in the house?" I then woke up to put the cat out only to realize again it was just a dream.

I can tell you the sensations are as real as reality itself. Espically the 'pin *****' which I struggled against in my dream untill the pain became so intense that it woke me up.

I had my wife check my back for marks. Maybe it was just a bug bite or I rolled onto something sharp in my bed. No marks, nothing sharp in my bed.

Hi 'Patches' hope your well tell the other kittys and doggies I wish them well and miss them.

I had a odd dream similar(not as sensory like yours Steam) a few months after I had to put my 8 y.o dog down due to lung cancer.

In the dream, I was playing with her in my back yard along with my wife and kids. It was actually our yard too, not some dreamlike yard. I got a feeling that my dog had to leave. I was sitting on the top stair of our deck and she came up and sat down next to me like she always did when she was alive. I put my arm around her, hugged her close, and told her how much I missed her.
Then I woke up with a very pleasant feeling. :)

I've always remembered that dream. I don't know about that paranormal stuff as well, but it sure seemed that she "visited" me in my dream.

The mind is a funny place, especially a womans mind when she's shopping for shoes. lol

But seriously consider this all things are spiritual. The body is dead without the spirit.

A healthy dog is seen chasing cars, barking and runing one minute till it gets hit by a car. The dog is lying beside the road as you go over and nudge it with your foot. Dead as in dead, stiff, no longer alive, but wait where did it's spirit go. The spirit gives life.

Perhaps your cats spirit is still in your bed and has no body left to return to :o

Have you changed your bedding lately? Just kidding ... keep on dreaming SteamWake we like your spirit. :yep:

I have old departed friends visit me in dreams before, and thought I'd seen them out of the corner of my eye in reality.
Our cats have also been startled by absolutely nothing and come running back into the house at warp speed, as though something pounced on them.
I'd like to think that they visit us again from time to time.

Hmm I had similar experience.

It was early morning and I felt that my left palm was licked by a dog repeatedly. The sensation was so real and quite long until I felt an urge to pat the dog back to return the favor because all those lickings tingled me in a good feel and only then it stopped and I woke up to find it was a dream but without pictures.....so basically I just felt my palm being licked all over by a dog.

Anyway in the afternoon of the same day while jogging I came across a dead stray dog on the street. I felt pity on it and asked a guy(giving him some money) to bury it.

I never had anything like this before and after.

I believe this sort of thing. I've been visited in my dreams by my cat Tasos from when I was a child growing up. He was more of a best friend and attached to me than any dog ever would be. We would sit and watch cartoons and eat Ritz crackers by the boxful. He loved those things so much that I buried him with a sleeve of them in his little box/casket...kind of like the Egyptians and burying their pharaohs with the things they'd need in the afterlife.

My mom's said the same thing about him coming to visit in dreams. Makes me hopeful for something else after we're done here on Earth.
