So how long does it take to boot? :DIf it only needs 96MB, not long, especially if you have a fast HD.

The hard part is the 17 hour install.

He likely won't. He would need at least a DX9 vid card and that would require the rare AGP version.

I agree. I love it when someone "retrofits" stuff to work on old machines. Reminds me when Doom 3 was released someone made it work with an old Voodoo card.
