Look at what they are calling news these days:

Is this for real? They are completely in love with this guy and worship the ground he walks on.

I could say something right now about the flaws with your argument and how you overreact to everything and anything that involves the Democrats, Obama, Republicans, and more, but I think I'll just summarize with one emoticon:

Its their political ticker. It's pretty far from a blog, regardless the address. I read it occasionally.

The way they follow his movements is unbelievable. Worse than a Grateful Dead Hippie looking for the next fix.

The medias continuing hero worship of this schlub is why I don't believe the polls regarding his approval numbers. I think they're grossly inflated. Anybody still supporting Obama's implemented agenda either wants the country ruined intentionally, is stupid and doesn't know how economies like ours function, are lazy and are still waiting for freebies, or are simply oblivious to the long term consequences of what's been done.

I do know there's alot of flustered Dems out there that didn't vote for this type of "change" that are now saying to themselves...."how do I get this damn bumper sticker off my car"? :haha:

I think the problem is two fold, the first being the natural tendancy of people not being able to admit their mistakes, and secondly the vast sums of money involved. When you see $ figures in the trillions it is near impossible for the average person to comprehend the gravity.

Get over yourself. They report this kind of fluff for every president:

http://archives.cnn.com/2001/ALLPOLITICS/08/06/bush.crawford/

http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/05/09/bush.wedding/index.html

http://archives.cnn.com/2002/ALLPOLITICS/03/28/bush.crawford/index.html

I guess it's only an "ZOMG OUTRAGE!" when it's not your guy, huh?

I'm sorry. None you listed are so petty that they talk about being in traffic. I could handle a story about him going out for a game of golf, but OMG! He is delayed for 15 minutes in a traffic jam! Not our dear Obama! See how pathetic your post is now? How about getting over yourself instead? That would be a much better thing for all the rest of us.

Why....what the heck...he posted links to CNN reporting about the same kind of mundanities I'm bitching about only regarding Bush's life like weddings and going on "brush clearing trips to Crawford" and the details of Easter dinner! That son of a bitch! This just ruins my whole post... Well, only one thing to do! Pretend it doesn't compare to the issue I brought up. If I acknowledge that I could be wrong that will only empower them and open the floodgates. Nope, stick with the plan: deny reality, no mater how illogical and silly it may be to do so. Have to keep up appearances, you know. Oh, and better throw in a couple of insults there and throw his own words in his face. Gotta throw in an "ALL OF US" mention too, because everyone backs me up and even if they don't, I like to pretend they do because it makes me feel good. That always works!

I consulted my "SUBMAN1 to Reality" dictionary and came up with the following translation of the above post

The President of the United States getting stuck in traffic makes for a funny little news item. You can't read news much if you don't know about the phenomenon of Komkommertijd.

EDIT: I consulted my "SUBMAN1 to Reality" dictionaryWhere can I get one?

EDIT2: Oh, and let's not get into how people loved Bush, shall we? I seem to recall masses claiming he was selected by God himself to be President. Does anyone else?

Face it, guys, lots of Presidents have a cult of personality around them. It seems to be more of a symptom of the US than a 'Democratic problem' - when you have a population that hails the flag each and every morning and have the uniformed JROTC do that silly little flag drill before every school event... you get Presidents with cults of personality.

When you see $ figures in the trillions it is near impossible for the average person to comprehend the gravity.True (http://www.costofwar.com/).
